    I’m back! How’s it going man?

    I’ve been using your plugin for a while and it’s great. Thanks again for helping with those earlier problems. Much appreciated.

    One thing that would be really awesome that this plugin needs, would be to give the option for users to switch from the normal ranking system, to a badge. But only if that badge is available to them if the admin has it checked for them to see it and use it (per the special badge system in the backend wordpress user page)

    You could throw this option under the “Edit” user page. So when a user goes to edit there profile, they can switch from the current normal rank they are at… To the badge. Hopefully I’m explaining this correctly. I’ve also supplied a quick mock of how it could look.

    So obviously you have your normal ranking system and it would display only the current rank level (based on post count) as one option. The second option would only display if the user has had staff member enable them to be special rank (or badge). You could just have little radio buttons under them or something for the user to select.

    I think this would be something useful to give the users the ability to choose, if available, what they want displayed but only if they have the permissions for it.

    ok, so at the moment if you allocate a badge to a user, then they will see both the badge and the rank.

    Keymasters can change whether either or both display for individual users.

    Logic would say that I would need to create the ability for the keymaster to decide whether to allow users to hide either or both and/or choose one or the other.

    That’s a lot of choices !

    so for a rank, the logic would be

    is there a rank and badge for users at this level
    is there a rank and badge for this user
    Has admin decided to hide one or the other or both
    has user decided to hide one or the other

    I’ll look at how this could be coded at a level where admins can work out what is happening !!

    Are you using buddypress as well as bbpress or just bbpress. If just bbpress I might try a specific for you
