Give each user a category

  • Hi!

    I’m trying to figure out how to set up a multiuser blog with a category for each user, so every one can post to their category and that way keep their separate space and sort of fake multiple blogs. Then I would create subcategories within each section/category and everyone would be happy. Is there any way of doing this?

  • One way is exactly as you described it – and additionally you can use the Limit categories plugin.

    Did you consider using WordPress MU (multiuser version)? That would give you the chance for real multiblog, not faked one.

    I’ve tried wpmu for the last two nights but it seems their current build has a couple of important bugs, I couldn’t even create a blog and current users are waiting for a new build to solve things.
