• Good day, I am trying to give a user access to Woocommerce only but hide the dashboard and everything else. The moment I try to hide the dashboard, the user is also unable to access Woocommerce and gets the error: “You do not have a permission to access the page.” I do not want to them to see the dashboard at all and go straight to woocommerce if they login. I can see that the url is trying to take them to the woocommerce page after logging in, but they only see the error as mentioned.

    Hello @freedomsoftwareza

You can change the setting “After Login Redirect User To” to User Profile instead of Dashboard.

Thank you for the quick reply. I actually tried that but I still get the: “You do not have a permission to access this page.” The moment I give him access to the Dashboard then He can log back in, but then he can see the dashboard and is not redirected to his profile, but to the dashboard.

can you click on Edit on the user row, and send me the permissions that you gave him?

Hi, I just did another little test. I also removed Woocommerce and gave the user only access to products and now it seems to work. The moment I login the user goes straight to the woocommerce products page. Could you please look into this, because I think they will also need access to Woocommerce itself and not just products.

Would you please try to expand the User menu and uncheck the Profile sub item?
