Gift Item custom demo image and titles not showing

  • Hi,

    I’m having the same issue to another user with version 4.1.9 (topic closed already):

    The Gift Item custom image doesn’t show (loads an old image, that I deleted from the Media Library to force loading the new one, but didn’t help) and when a voucher is selected, the preview does not load the specific item image.

    Also, the Gift Items titles are not loading, showing the page title instead.

    It is working on version 4.1.7, but thought opening this topic to raise awareness. Thanks ??

    Hi again, just to report that I had to rollback to version 4.1.6.

    On 4.1.8 and 4.1.9, the price of each gift item isn’t loading and on version 4.1.7 it loads the price, but on none of them the customer is taken to PayPal to pay.

    After you upgrade from 4.1.6 to 4.1.9, you should to re-update the link image of Gift Item. We are still checking the reasons of issue.

    Even if we re-update the image, it still doesn’t load properly.

    The issues are:
    -Images don’t load (general or single Gift Item)
    -Titles of each Gift Item don’t load
    -Payment button shows an error message

    It all works on the 4.1.6 version, and I’m keeping that until Mother’s Day (it’s a client’s website that needs the promo).

    Maybe it’s an issue with their website theme and I’ll re-access after that.

    The issues mentioned on 4.1.6 version, we fixed it on 4.1.9 version. Please try to install 4.1.9 and then open the debug function of WordPress and send us that information about issue?

    Well, I was going to purchase the paid version, but I have submitted 2 questions on your website, with no response and the support is very slow or nearly unresponsive, as there are many issues with almost no resolutions. I have already found a few issues myself. Not a production ready product. Had really big hopes for this product. Guess I will look for another product.

    As we mentioned We fixed it on 4.1.9, We would want to know if you can open debug function of wordpress to us checking in your site.

    For this particular website (it’s from a client and I didn’t build it) it all works with the 4.1.6 version enabled, but not with 4.1.9 version.

    When I enabled the debug function, it generated a massive error log file from multiple plugins. I believe it is related to their website theme. Do you still want the error log? If so, where can I send it to?

    I’m happy to keep the version 4.1.6 active for now as the client said they want to rebuild the whole website from scratch.

    Hi team,

    I updated to version 4.2.1 and on the shortcode I removed the item-cat-id and that made the item titles load properly. It’s a fix for now ??

    To make the Custom Demo image load, I went to gititems.php and replaced ‘.$itemimage.’ by the image url on lines 178 and 444
