    Thanks Ryan. I’ve tried it on both check out pages and it says the gift card has been applied but the amount is not taken off. Please send me your email address or let me know how I can send you the screenshots.

    This is an issue that I am currently working on however you can try to enable the Shipping Charge option in the Gift card settings. (This makes it so that shipping is paid for with the gift card). If you do not want this feature you should be able to disable the option right after.

    Hi Ryan, thanks for getting back to me. I’ve tried it with and without the Shipping Charge option checked but it makes no difference – it tells me that the gift card has been applied but the order total remains the same.

    I’m currently facing the same problem.
    When you add a gift card number, it doesn’t deduct it from the total amount nor from the card balance, which unfortunately renders it pretty useless.

    This plugin has great potential, though. If you will be able to fix this issue I will be glad to give you a 5 star review.

    Can you tell me what version of gift cards you are using. I thought this issue had been resolved but if it is still happening I want to track down what is causing this.

    I believe I’m using the lastest version: Version 1.6.2
    I’m also using the lastest version of WordPress.

    I’ve done a test install of the plugin using:
    WP 4.1
    WooCommerce 2.2.10
    Gift Cards 1.6.2
    So everything up-to-date I think.

    I’m pleased to say that now when I use a gift card code the cart total updates to take account of it. So, whatever you did has fixed that – thanks for taking a look.

    However, having now successfully completed a test transaction using the gift card, the total on the gift card within the system isn’t updated. This means that the customer could potentially reuse the card. Should this be automatically updated when the card is used? Or do we have to do this manually within the admin? I’ve checked out the plugins on your site but it doesn’t look like there’s one designed to address that.

    Will wait on trying this out until it’s confirmed that the gift card total will be reduced when the customer uses it. Otherwise, the plugin would hurt a business.
