Gift Card will not populate variable price.

  • Our gift card functionality worked a few weeks ago but now it does not. When a customer attempts to create a gift card, the gift card options do not allow him to select a price or add the item to the cart.

    Please help.

    Hello there,

    Seem that for any reason, the button features inside the gift card forms are blocked. We think that it could be caused by the theme, but we are not sure.

    Could you switch your theme to a default WordPress one and check if the problem is solved, please? If so, you will need to contact your theme support to check what is happening.

    If the problem persist, try to deactivate all plugins, leaving only WooCommerce and YITH Gift Cards active, and see if the problem is solved. If so, try to activate them again, one by one, to see which one causes the issue.

    I have done as you suggested. I switched to the default WordPress 2020 theme and disabled all plugins except woocommerce and the gift card plugin. It still did the same thing….

    I feel like this happened after your most recent update. Could you send me the older version of the plugin for me to try?

    I did some more testing. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. Now, the price seems to work, but the user doesn’t have the option to designate a recipient email and name.

    Hello there,

    sorry for the late reply.

    I have been checking your product https://colosse.com/shop/test-gift-card/ and seem that it’s a physical product, for this reason you can’t see the recipient info fields. Could you change the product to “virtual” and check if now all is working fine, please?

    Actually, that did not work.

    However, I did another test and figured it out. I had created a $0 option at one point for testing purposes. When I removed that option, it worked.
