Gift Card Integration?

    Hello! We are currently using Zettle in our shop, and WooCommerce for online sales. We have added selling Gift Cards in WooCommerce (using WooCommerce Ultimate Gift Card plugin). This basically just creates a Coupon code that is used like a gift card.

    Zettle also offers the ability to sell gift cards, where we can enter a code from one of our physical gift cards in-person.

    The problem is, the two don’t sync; in other words, website-sold gift card codes can’t be used in-store, and Zettle-sold gift card codes can’t be used online.

    **Does this plugin allow synchronization of coupon codes, so that one code can be recognized in both places?

    thank you for reaching out to us, this question makes perfect sense, however, the functionality that you are requesting does not yet exist in our plugin. First of all, gift cards do not sync and we have nothing in place We have had similar requests before and came to the same conclusion: including coupons would make it possible to integrate this in both directions. We have created a feature request for this, but so far have not gotten the approval/funding to get this developed.

    I will link this thread to the feature request so that we can update the thread when this feature becomes available for you.

    We are developing this plugin for Zettle & PayPal, so we are not the ones that can decide on this. You might want to contact Zettle (or PayPal) and see if they can help you in this matter. We (the developing & supporting) party does not really have any option available for you. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you on this.
