• When my customers use their YITH gift card, it applies to the subtotal, rather than the total – making us short on tax. See example below:

Is there a way to change this so the gift card is put towards the total after taxes? Perhaps making it a payment method instead of a coupon?

We also have negative balances on many of the gift cards that have been redeemed. Is there a way to zero them out so customers can only redeem the balance of the card?

    Hello Taylor,
hope you are doing well! ??

By default, if the gift card has enough balance, it will cover the order total, also the taxes. The gift cards used in the image, had enough balance?

Seem that you have different kind of taxes, are they added by an external plugin?

Regarding the balances, could you tell us if you are using the WooCommerce coupon field or ours? We highly recommend using ours. However, you can edit the balance of any Gift Card in the Dashboard of our plugin.

Let us know any news, please.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi Juan,

In the example I attached, the gift card balance did not cover the tax (15%) and shipping ($9+HST).

We use the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax and Advanced Coupons for WooCommerce plugins as well. Is there a way to add the YITH coupon field while maintaining the Woo coupons for promotional use?

    Hello Taylor,

Unfortunately, for those plugins an integration is required, and at the moment it is not possible, sorry. However, we keep a record for future associated features.

Regarding showing both fields, by default the free version shows both fields (the one for our plugin, and the one for coupons that comes by default in WooCommerce).

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.

    Have a nice day!
