When I load any webpage on my website, there is a flash of a giant X before the page appears. My web developer indicated that it’s caused by the COMPLIANZ plugin:
“It appears that the close button icon is loaded in its original size before getting reduced.”

He indicated that I should contact the Complianz plugin developers to correct this issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lpopovnd,

The Thrive theme removes inline CSS from other plugins, and this inline CSS is mandatory for the cookie banner.

One of the upcoming Complianz updates will contain a change in our Thrive integration to avoid this behavior.

For now: there is an option in Thrive to disable the inline css removal which also fixes the issue, please see this article on where to enable this: https://complianz.io/fix-flashing-cross-on-thrive-architect-pages/

    Hope it helps!
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @8vasa8,

Does your issue persist when visiting your site with ?nowprocket added at the end of your URL?

If the issue disappears upon doing so, the issue is likely related to an optimization in the WP Rocket plugin (such as “remove unused CSS”), as that setting might remove the inline CSS that Complianz inserts to avoid a flash of unstyled content.

Note: While such issues might appear similar at times, they might have a different cause. We recommend creating a new thread for your issue as to improve the visibility of your question.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
