Ghost WP update?

    Hi
    Yesterday I updated my WP to the current 5.5.3 version.
    I checked that everything on my website was working fine – and it was. I cleared the cache. Everything was saved, confirmed, fine.

    Today I went to my dashboard (I was still logged in) and …. I saw a prompt to update WP to 5.5.3 ! I refreshed the page – same prompt. So I updated AGAIN.

    How is it possible? (unless I have shifted to a parallel universe overnight)
