Ghost posts (drafts) appearing on my blog

  • I little while ago I noticed that draft posts started appearing on my blog as well as new categories which had started to make a real mess of my home page menus.

    I deleted the posts and the categories and changed my admin password.

    A few days later more posts and categories appeared so I deleted them all, then disabled all rights for the admin account and created a new account with admin privileges.

    A few days later, same thing again. This time I deleted ALL 1800 subscriber accounts and the admin account leaving just the new account with admin privileges I had created a few days earlier.

    Today.. same thing.. more new draft posts and new categories!!! WTF?

    I have been reading through the forums and found a few similar issues but no real answers. Someone mentioned it might be a plugin causing this. Does anyone know of a rouge plugin that does this. I have fairly standard and widely used plugins on my https://www.medellinblog.com site.

    Anybody else having this issue, or resolved it? Help!

    Did you have any luck figuring this out? I’ve got the same problem.

    The post has a title, category and one or two words in the body and shows as a draft.

    I’ve changed the password, name etc. but they still appear.
