Ghost Copy
-
I have to start by commenting that although I am a WordPress user and I am familiar with managing my VPS with Plesk and FPT, I have very basic technical knowledge and I do not know how to use the SSH console. My hosting provider suffered a "fatal failure" in its hardware infrastructure and we were without services for 5 days. Fortunately, all the contents and configuration of the VPS were recovered, although some problems occurred during the restoration that we are solving well. There remains a "bug" with UpdraftPlus that we do not know how to resolve. Here is a backup created with UpdraftPlus on December 3rd (the failure occurred on December 10th and the VPS could be restored on December 15th). That copy does not exist in the entire VPS, nor is it in the external repository (Dropbox). Please look: https://imgur.com/a/KsTS2oc I tried to restore the copy from December 3 but I get warnings that it is empty or something like that. The same when I try to "delete" I made a new copy on December 16 that was created fine (in Dropbox and in the "/wp-content/updraft" directory. I have tried restoring it and it works fine. There is no way to delete the December 3 copy. I have accessed with FTP and deleted the entire directory: "/var/www/vhosts/debriefingteam.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/“ I restarted the VPS, I uploaded the plugin again and activated it and I found myself again The two backups are listed (the one that exists from 12/16/2023 and the "ghost" from 03/12/2023). Please, how can I delete that "ghost copy" (I insist that it is not in Dropbox and we did not find it hosted on the VPS) to return everything to normal. I do not dare to make new copies for fear of causing an error in the system or database. Thank you for your attention and help. Greetings, Mario Dehter
