Getty Images Invoice

  • The plugin seems to be working perfectly. This trouble we are having is that we received an invoice from Getty Images in the post/mail for the use of an image that was used by another website and became a thumbnail linking to the other website under our article through the use of the Related Posts plugin.

    We are not using the image ourselves and it cannot even be seen clearly as it is a picture of a section of forest that when shrunk to the thumbnail size looks like a green box.

    It never entered our heads that we would be seen as a user and billed for the image. The bill is quite large. We have taken the blog down now to avoid future issues such as this.

    Has anybody come across this before?

    Any recommendations about how to proceed?
