Getting webstat to work (htaccess modification?)

  • My server has a “webstat” folder which allowed me to view various website statistics. It has always worked (by visiting https://www.myurl.com/webstat) but when I installed wordpress it no longer allows it (responds with a 404 error).

    Obviously WP adds htaccess folder limits that are disallowing me from viewing it normally. Is there an htaccess mod I can add to allow that specific folder to be viewable again?

    Note: I tried doing it myself after some online research and broke the site…so I come here for the expertise I obviously lack ; )
