    Hi there,

    This plugin has been quite fun setting up. However, I get the There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later. I have installed Bit SMTP plugin and I have set that up and is able to send a test email without issue. I am however, unsure why I can receive wordpress admin emails when doing say an email change. Or do they come from wordpress directly?

    But whenever i fill in a simple contact form i get the error message. Im sure it is something ive not set correctly, but im not sure if I have use a specific plugin to send an email or can any smtp plugin work fine.

    In the to field I have my main contact and want to at least receive an email when someone fills in the template with a list of the value the user has filled out. But also email the user to state that I have received their email.

    In regard to emailing the person, can the email come from the same email address, or does it have to come from say [email protected] For that do I have to enable the use mail (2) option.

    Any ideas please.

    You have reCAPTCHA errors in the browser console. See reCAPTCHA (v3) and make sure your configuration is all correct.

    Hi there

    Many thanks for your help.

    I am set up with hcaptcha and the tickbox does show, and I can complete the captcha code.

    Update.

    I have been able to get this to work fine.

    Turns out that to use contact form 7 with hCAPTCHA. Just dont put any site key or secret into the reCAPTCHA part of contact form 7. jsut install hCAPTCHA for wordpress and would show up fine.

    I did also notice that you can edit fields and set with any value for example you can use [tel] or [phone] and as long as its in the email, the phone number will show up.

    Dam cool plug-in.
