Getting the user_role in the template?

Hi,

I’m trying to get the “user role” accessed in my footer.php template

Basically, I wanna wrap some code around it – so that the GAnalytics code doesn’t get shown to me (the admin)

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

I know there are plugins to do this – but all the ones I’ve tried don’t seem to work (the code gets added as it should, but it never actually seems to log anything on google for some reason – and its been 3 days now, but no clicks registered!)
