So my page is acting up to where I can’t seem to find the source of why my logo isn’t appearing on top or below my slider. Cleared my cache, deactivated plugins, looked through my theme editor, and all that jazz already. So I figured I should just put it somewhere on my slider. Anyone know if that’s possible?

    Hi @rdeipar!

    At the “Add slide” button:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/405-slide-manager#create
you could choose to create a “static overlay”. That will create a slide which won’t move while your regular slides will move under it. Here you could insert an image layer to have your logo in it:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/361-image-layer

But if you would like to just have the logo before or after the slider, you could create a new slider, which would only have the logo and nothing else.

If you would still have a problem after this, please send me a link to your website either here or through our support form:

and we will try to help!

Oh awesome! I didn’t realize it had that static overlay option, I totally overlooked it. Thank you! Alright so I’m trying it out and it works, I just have the problem of my logo converting from a png into a jpeg once I upload it to my media library (not Smart Slider’s fault of course) therefore it makes my logo look much lower in resolution. Do you happen to know how I can keep my logo as a png and its normal resolution?

    Hi @rdeipar

Probably some other plugin, or the theme makes the png images behave like that. Try uploading the logo with all plugins disabled, using a default WordPress theme (Twenty*).

Alternatively, try using a jpeg to png converter to make sure that the png logo is actually a png image, because I find it possible that it changes to a jpeg because it’s actually not a png imag it was just renamed to look like one.
