• Some time ago I bought a pro theme and been trying to set it up as I want it. One thing I don’t know how to do is get that thin nav bar that runs across the top of the theme where the catagories sit. It may seem easy for you but I don’t know how to put this in place.

Perhaps you set up the navigation catagories first and then put the block over the top and make it go to the back so you can see the menues.

I’d be glad of any help with this please.

when using a pro theme, it’s best to contact the support crew/theme creators for advice on setting up theme purchased.

it’s harder for volunteers to make any general recommendations without a link to website to be able to inspect elements/view source code.

    Ok
I appriciate your comments. But lets just say this is a general wordpress theme and I want to do the same thing to get an idea of how you go about putting this nav bar block on the twenty sixteen theme instead.

    Thanks.

are you looking for general instructions to register an additional menu area not that is not already included in your theme?

On the top of the theme are three main categories, Laptops Tablets and Chrome books. They are sitting on the page by themselves, but when I see other peoples themes their categories are on a dark strip that runs across the width of the theme and all I want is to know how to get that strip onto the store page as there doesn’t seem to be a way of doing that.

I bet its dead simple to do but as I’m starting out with WordPress its taking me a little longer to figure out.

    Thank.
