Getting text only via the plugin

Hi Meitar,
Thanks for the plugin, it is incredibly powerful with spreadsheets.
However, I’d like to pull some numbers from the sheet as raw text, I tried using no-datatables, but the plugin still returns a table which renders below the text, while I want it right beside it.
Thing is, I am gathering applications via google.forms and I would like to show the visitors the amount of remaining open positions. I figured out how to do it with charts or tables, but the table looks less attractive than simple text line.
So to sum up – can I get the value of a cell only, without draving the table around it?
