Please rephrase your question so we can better help you. I am not sure if you’re saying your theme does not work with WooCommerce or are you saying it works fine except for the “message” that shows in the backend.

Sorry, I was meant to say that I’m working on a theme + WooCommerce. I already have everything work out, there is the “message” shows in the backend (I understand we can hide it by adding add_theme_support(‘woocommerce’); ), but can I get support without adding add_theme_support(‘woocommerce’); ?

hmmmm sorry I still don’t understand your question. That message is just a message and has nothing to do with if your theme will work with WooCommerce or not. And why you don’t want to add the theme support function for it?

I have a client, who saw the “message” and mentioned to me that you guys will not give support because of the “message”.

So my question is that with the message (meaning without delcare the woocommer support), can I still get support on wooCommerce?

Ok I think on am on to what you’re trying to ask now. No, they will not give support to any 3rd party themes that is NOT created by them. This has nothing to do with that message you’re referring to.
