Getting Started

  • I just got the password and started with the tutorials and my dash board doesn’t have all the topic/links mentioned. All it says on the left column from top to bottom is:

    Dashboard

    Profile
    Your Profile

    Nothing else.

    Is there any other additional data/info I can provide that will help me get over this first hurdle in starting my companies blog. I signed back in this morning and the Dashboard (left column) still appears with only the:

    Dashboard

    Profile
    Your Profile

    Nothing else. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

    Sounds like you are logged in as a subscriber and not as an admin.

    ESMI, Thanks. How can I tell if I am logged in as either. Or a better question is where do I make that change to log in as a Admin? THX in advance.

    If you do not have access to Posts, Pages etc, then you do not have admin status. You should have been provided with admin login details when you installed WordPress.
