I’m getting spammed by one of your wonderful WordPress morons who keeps sending me emails telling me my friend has died and his funeral announcement can be read by clicking HERE (where the link goes to one of his WordPress yammerings).

Now maybe all of your artsy-fartsy bitchy PC clueless vapid retards like to get fake emails about non-existent funerals, but I do not. The emails do not have an unsubscribe, and the bastard user, ANYTHINGGAUCHE.COM, won’t allow comments on his retarded WordPress site, and since WordPress is some anonymous corporation where you can’t call and complain to anyone, I’m forced to write this rant to a bunch of elitist snobs who’ll flame me, I’m sure.

    Well – (profanity removed)

WordPress isn’t an “anonymous corporation”, because it’s not a corporation at all. It’s a piece of software that is available for free. Anybody can download it and anybody can use it for any purpose whatsoever.

We can’t stop somebody from using WordPress on their website for any reason at all. We’re not actually in charge of their website.

You can’t call and complain to us because we’re not actually a company and we therefore don’t have a phone number. Or anything else, for that matter. This is an open source project, written by people who volunteer their time and effort to create the free software.

And while we’re sorry that somebody is spamming you, you need to blame the spammer for being a dick, not us. We have nothing to do with him.

To put it in context, if he used a Macbook to send you spam, would you blame Apple? WordPress doesn’t even let you send email in that manner, BTW. It just helps people make websites. Simple as that.

You should probably know the correct people to whom to complain. Perhaps the WHOIS record for that domain might be helpful.

But given that the site in question is still running WordPress 2.9.2, hasn’t posted anything since 2009, and is using a Theme linked to a spam site, I doubt contacting the owner would be very helpful.

can be read by clicking HERE (where the link goes to one of his WordPress yammerings).

If the link address has “wordpress” in it, e.g. “yammerings.wordpress.com” then the guy has a WordPress.com site. WordPress.com’s forums are here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/
