After restoring a WPvivid backup I can no longer get into WP Admin and am getting the “Sorry, You Are Not Allowed to Access This Page” error message.

I have check file permissions and htaccsess file, which don’t appear to be the problem.

    Any ideas? Thanks

    Hello @sedisd

Thanks for using WPvivid Backup Plugin.

It is recommended that you check the table prefix of the target site, for example, if the table prefix is wp_, then

    1. Check and make sure it is ‘wp_user_roles’ instead of ‘otherprefix_user_roles’ in the options table.
    2. Check and make sure the prefix of ‘wp_capabilities’, ‘wp_user_level’ and other options in the ‘wp_usermeta’ table is ‘wp’. See this example screenshot.

Normally our plugin replaces the prefix automatically in a restore process, if it was not replaced in your case, then can you send us a debug zip to contact(at)wpvivid.com to help identify the issue?

    All the best,
