Getting Server 500 Errors with WP 4.8.3 and Yoast 5.7.1

Hi,

We are not sure why the server 500 was generated, though we do know it means there is an issue with the server. To resolve the issue we suggest the following actions:

1. Confirm that no other plugin or theme is causing the server 500 error. You can confirm this by performing a conflict check.?Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like?Twenty Sixteen.?If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or a theme conflict.

You may also wish to create a staging site. Some staging sites may be provided by your host provider. We ask that you please speak with them. 2. If the issue persists, you should check your server logs for information on why a 500 error was given. There may be a clue in there.

Thanks, Pcosta. Turns out it was a DB corruption with the wp_posts table. All is fixed now. Thanks!

Basically the same problem here on WP 4.9.1. on ONLY one post which gives a 500 error. The AMP of the same post works. The rest of the site has no problems. Checked logs and plugin conflicts, DB repaired, but its Yoast plugin that causes this – any idea what to do?
