Getting Selected Color

  • Although get_post_meta( get_post_thumbnail_id(), ‘dominant_color_hex’, true ); definitely works, it only gets the automatically selected color. It does not change when you select one of the 8 colors generated.

    Use get_color_data( get_post_thumbnail_id(), ‘dominant_color_hex’, true ); if you want to fix this.
