getting same muliplemesseage from contact form eben after i removed it –

    Hi,

    I am getting more more of the same messeage from my contact form. I removed my contact form from my blog but i still keep getting the same messeage over and over again.

    How that could happened?

    Did someone here heard of somthing like that and have a sulotion?

    Removing the form on your site does not remove the form handler code. Spammers can send requests from their own servers to the handler without loading the form once they learn the proper data to send. Assuming your form follows good practice and implements a nonce security token, it will expire within 24 hours, after which spammer submittals will fail unless they get a new nonce from your form. Since you removed the form, they cannot get a new nonce.

    Thus you should not be getting any more messages by now if the form had implemented WP nonces. If spam messages are still a problem, you need to remove or disable the form handler code.

    I do change the from to another contact form plugin (contact form 7) and it looks ok now…
