Getting rid of title on posts page

You will probably need to start customising your theme’s category template file – possibly via a child theme.

All I can find in my theme is a posts.php page. I don’t have a category page, I do have an index page.

I seem to remember in my other site, I just found where it called for that title and changed the text. I never had to deal with a child theme.

I understand, I need to look on the index file, I just don’t know what to change.
