Getting rid of stock photos

I figured out the problem on the Stories page by deselecting “Show Featured Image” but I can’t find a similar solution to the Latest Posts section on the home page.

What you need to do is to disable example content – https://help.lyrathemes.com/article/217-example-content and then set your own featured images for all the posts and pages – https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-featured-image-or-post-thumbnails-in-wordpress/

The instructions say to go to Customize > General Settings. I don’t have a General Settings but I do have General Setup. The options there don’t include “Show Example Content.” Instead I have disabled demo, enabled animations, and hidden footer widgets.

Oh, okay, I think I got it. With the demo disabled, I was expecting those stock photos to just disappear, but I actually have to replace them with something.
