• Hey guys,

I am very new to the wordpress world and I am having a bit of an issue. If you look at my website: https://sheblomcg.com/
You can see at the top of the pay where I have my “section” bottons, it states “no categories”, Now I dont want this. The way I set it up is that all the “link”, etc CG – Commercial, Links etc I set up using pages, now that all i want up there, not the no categores thing. Is the way I did it the best way or have I gone about all the wrong way?

Can anyone help me get rid of it?

    Thanks

  • hi,

i think that you have to add some categories for that to go away. i know it seems frivolous at first but as you add posts to your blog they become a handy cross reference.

so try and add a category to page where you edit your post.

I don’t know if you’re still trying to fix this, but I had the same problem and was able to resolve it. I’m using the Ashford theme, which is quite good and has an option to disable categories under:

Appearance > Ashford Options > Display Category Submenu > No

You can see my website here: powermagneticproducts.com for an example.

    Hope this helps.
