getting rid of multiple page entries on same page

  • I recently installed WordPress and am using the TwentyTen theme for now. As soon as I add a new page to the About page that comes with the basic install the content of the new page shows up on the About page and the new page. The new page only shows its own content.

    Similarly, if I continue to add new pages the new page content shows up on the new page and the page before it.

    So page x through page x-1 all show two page entries. The home (posts) page and the last page I created only show one page.

    I have the front page set to posts and have not modified any templates or other settings. It is basically a new install. Any ideas??
