• I’m new to WordPress and have just created a static home page, but I can’t get rid of the word “Home” from just above my in page text. I would like to keep the home link in my nav bar, but I don’t want the word home in bold text above my text. I don’t want to change it to something else, I just want it gone!

I don’t know anything about coding and I certainly don’t want to mess around with the style sheets and break my site. Is there a plugin that will do this for me or some other simple work around. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who doesn’t want to see the link to a page repeated in bold text at the top of the page, to which it links.

Thank you very much for any help.

    Hi

It would help us to help you if you posted a link to the site so that we can see what is going on and offer possible solutions

@jeremyps: It is impolite to interrupt another poster’s thread with a question of your own. Please post your own topic.

@mowen09: Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    Hi everyone,
Thanks for taking the trouble to respond. I thought it must be a very common question as WordPress by default shows every link on each page in bold text by default. Although my new site is hidden in a sub directory here is the link.

It’s the bold text “Home” in the top left of the page which I am trying to get rid of. As I said in my first post I am new to wordpress and the only answers I could find involved changing the style sheets. So I am trying the find a plugin to help. Many thanks.
