Getting rid of Cyberchimps in "Fine" theme

I’m preparing my first web site on the theme ‘Fine”. So far so good, but for one problem. This is a theme with Cyberchimps sliders across one of the pages and I can’t see a way to get rid of it. The page I have the problem with is the Posts page. My front page display is a static page and the Posts are pointing to a page of that name. It’s the only page I have the Cyberchimps sliders visible on. I’ve tried to switch them to inactive but nothing works. Are these compulsorily visible unless I buy the upgrade?
