At the bottom of my website, there is a bar that says, “today is Tuesday, October 4, 2011” with the date obviously updating everyday. If you are a registered user it also says Welcome and your name. This bar is on the bottom of every page and always remains on the bottom of the screen, even when you scroll down. The way it appears on my site, it makes it look like you’ve reached the bottom of the webpage before you actually have and I also don’t know why I’d want it there, so I’d like to get rid of it. Does anyone know how? website: https://www.jonathankrieger.com. Theme: Fastfood. Thanks a lot. This is my first time using this forum so please tell me if I’m doing something wrong in how I’m posting this.

  • I’m going to guess that’s held in “footer.php”. You want to delete the section that looks similar to “<div id=”statusbar”> Welcome , today is Tuesday, October 4, 2011 </div>”

If you go to pastebin.com, paste your footer.php and put the URL to that paste here, you can get a more exact answer.

Wow, well that did it. Thanks a lot. If I have more issues with my site, should I post them in this thread or start new threads?

Probably start a new thread, unless you have a lot of very similar theme editing questions. =)
