    We are exciting to announce the upcoming version of Redirection for Contact Form 7. We have worked on this version for some time, and it has been completely rewritten to support easy installation of any of our PRO wonderful extensions.

    The new version also includes an exciting new feature: saving the leads of each form separately in the database, so there is no need for an extra plugin for this basic feature.

    All old settings exists and works wonderfully in the new version of the plugin, and automatically migrated to it. We’ve tested this process over and over again, but if you still find any issues, don’t hesitate and ask us here in this forum. We promise to do our best to give you the fastest solutions.

    We highly recommend to check our PRO actions in the extensions screen. You might find very interesting features.

    I just Installed ‘Contact Form 7’ and ‘Redirection for Contact Form 7’ plugins. I created a form and the form works fine. But when I try to set the redirection settings, there is no ‘Redirect Settings’ tab which usually there in the form edit page. I think there is a bug or something in ‘Redirection for Contact Form 7’ plugin. It was updated just hours ago. I have below specifications in my site

    WordPress – 5.5.1
    Contact Form 7 – Version 5.2.2
    Redirection for Contact Form 7 – Version 2.2.2

    Hello!

    After upgrade redirect action stop working.

    I did setup as below, but it didn’t work.

    Rule Title: Redirect
    [ ] Use custom URL
    [x] Select a page – IMB (page name)
    [ ] Redirect as X-WWW-FORM-URLENCODED (Form Post)
    [ ] Open page in a new tab
    [x] Pass all the fields from the form as URL query parameters
    [ ] Pass specific fields from the form as URL query parameters
    [ ] How many seconds to delay
    Number of seconds: blank
    [x] Enable Redirect

    Any idea?

    WordPress – 5.5.1
    Contact Form 7 – Version 5.2.2
    Redirection for Contact Form 7 – Version 2.2.4

    Hi @rsimbiriba,

    • Can you provide a link to the page with the contact form?
    • Do you have any other plugins related to Contact Form 7?
    • Please go to Contact > Extensions > Check “Debug” > Save Changes (Screenshot #1)
    • Go to the form settings > Debug Tab > Approve terms and click Send Debug Report (Screenshot #2)

    – Yes use Redirection for Contact Form 7 with CF7 Google Sheet Connector plugin.
    – I found no debug check, below extentions there is just the save button.

    It looks like a JavaScript issue in your theme or plugins, since AJAX is not working in this form at all. It’s not related directly to Redirection for Contact Form 7.

    I am getting the same problem.

    No redirection and no message in debug.

    I think the problem is with the new update as the old version if working very fine without any issues.

    I’m getting the same problem as rsimbiriba

    No other plugins for Contact Form 7 that I can see!

    I ran the debug and sent the report…

    Any advice would be great; I loved this plugin before, and it’d be a shame for it not to work any more…

    But why issue with the current version? Old version is working fine without any changes or theme change or plugin deactivate.

    Hi @flytbase,

    We did change some of old behavior of Redirection for Contact Form 7 to make it more performance-wise. Do note some users did had issues with the old version as well – sometimes a theme issue, and sometimes another plugin running a bad code causing a chain reaction that made our plugin not to work properly, that is why we posted this topic, and we first ask people to check it out and provide us with more details we need.

    Same problem here…
    I deactivated all plugins apart from Contact form7 and the redirect plugin. I switched the theme to Twenty Seventeen basic theme. The redirect still doesn’t work but the old version worked fine.
    There’s something wrong with your plugin.

    • Please take a full screenshot of your redirect settings with Redirect action open.
