Getting "Oops. Something went wrong"

I’m getting an “oops. something went wrong” message when attempting to sign up. It doesn’t happen every time and it occurs even with all plugins disabled (using base theme).
Any advice? I checked the log and it shows the following:
ERROR: Form 741 > MailChimp API error: 0
This only seems to happen when logged out of WP.
