Getting Mingle and Wishlist Member to work together

I am currently attempting to get mingle and wishlist to work well together. So far, its been a struggle.

I need wishlist to give me the ability to have multiple level of members that do different things.

Mingle is useful for connecting members.

If I use WL member’s registration process, the profile does not work with Mingle because Mingle demands use of its own profile page, which does not show the WL member’s customized fields.

Mingle’s registration is buggy. It registers the user but gives an error anyway AND does not register the user for any of the roles I created in WL member.

Feel sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
