Getting Mad on Static Front Page

Hi

I need help to create one static frontpage for my site. I have been checking the forum on this topic, silly me I still couldn’t find the right solution to solve my problem.

I’ve copy the index.php and rename as home.php, and also i’ve remove part of the php code only the intro is remained on the front page. The problem I have now, the sidebar has gone outside the page. I really couldn’t find any glue to solve this problem.

Appreciate someone can assist me on this problem.
