Getting .htaccess security warning in dashboard

  • I am getting the following message even though I have already moved the file a while ago (i.e. the file is no longer in wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager and has not been there for a long time). The message started showing before I upgraded from 3.3.1 to 3.3.2 so it is not an upgrade issue. It occurred just recently:

    Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public

    To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /home/myusername/public_html/wp-content/backup-db
