• I have noticed there are a lot of very rude people who moderate these forums. I am sorry that I happen to be one of those learning and need maybe a little more help. I am not as familiar with terms and finding information that is relevant to my needs in those terms. Yes to someone who does this all day and has done it for a long time they are easy for you. Remember to be nice to those who do not know as much as you do. There was a time when you didn’t know it either.
    All that said,
I have a website that I am trying to get setup with seo. My problem is finding someone to answer a question. How do I get SEO By Yoast to recognize my tables from Table Press plugin. This is where my content is and all the information that is needed to rank it in seo.
I posted this comment in the wrong place. Sorry about doing that. All the more reason for needing clearer help for new people.
    Thanks Margaret Lane

  • For help with a plugin – go to the plugins page – find your plugin and then click on the “support” tab – scroll down to make a new post.

This may be useful as well:

I have looked and I have left posts for them and have had no response. It is a situation and issue I need to resolve. However, my main point of the whole thing was the rudeness of many of the moderators. I encountered on several months ago and as I was looking for help I saw quite a few more than usual in the last couple of days. I understand they are volunteers. However, someone who is new does not need the meanness of others that I have seen. Yes, sometimes we do not find what is right in front of use. The problem is that many times it is not written in a way we understand it. We are all different and there are a lot of new people learning to do this for themselves because to hire someone is more than we can afford. Sorry if I stepped on some toes. This is just how I feel about what I have been reading.

I’m sorry you’ve had that experience – yes, everyone here is human and online communication can be difficult sometimes in that way. I don’t see any new threads from you in those plugin forums – if you post in old resolved threads – they are sometimes deleted and/or often not replied to by the plugin developers. That’s why the guidelines say:

Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

I know Tobias – the developer of TablePress is EXTREMELY responsive, so I’d suggest you make a new post in that sub-forum here:
