Getting first load miss even with Guest Mode on

Does it happen with any pattern ? what’s the time gap between your tests ?

I always get a hit on subsequent re-tests until I let it rest for at least 20mins, then I’ll get a miss and again full hits until I let it rest when checking the same url.

For example, today at 16:07 I GT https://www.flukyfabrics.com and got a miss, then immediately re-test and got a hit, then again GT it at 16:28 (21 mins later) and got a miss again then re-test and got a hit. But then I re-test at 17:00 (that is 32 mins later) and got a hit. So it’s not an exact time-pattern.

I’m not sure if Guest Mode works only on the homepage (I hope it works for all pages or at least categories it would be pointless if it doesn’t) but since first load miss happens on all pages not just the front-home page, any product or category page will behave the same so you can go ahead and GT any product or cat url you choose, it will give you a miss on first test then a hit on re-test.

the guest mode should work on any public-visible page

please go to toolbox -> debug setting -> enable debug log to ALL , set log level to advance

then wait for 20-30 minutes , check if you see anything in /wp-content/debug.purge.log

I got 12 entries and paste some here 1 hour and 30 minutes ago, it said the post was held for moderation and will be manually reviewed but since it’s still like that, I uploaded an image showing a couple of the entries, all of them are basically equal but some of them don’t have the LSCACHE_VARY_VALUE: +webp line.

yesterday I GT’ed your site like 6, 7 times in 3 hours , but in that period , all gives me hit

do you have more detailed information about how/when it will occurs ?

I could keep on trying, every single url I GT is a miss on first test, I don’t understand how can you get hits on first tests. It’s extremely weird.

It occurs at any time of the day, there’s no difference it’s always a miss on first test as explained before.

Well, I opened the ticket by mail and gave you access to my files and admin and I only got as answer an email with a list of GT tests with hits on it, if I GT my site I always get misses on every first test and if you do apparently always get hits, so it wont take us anywhere if I keep on sending you GT tests with misses and you sending me GT tests with hits.

This is not resolved but I see you aren’t gonna be able to help me if you GT instead of debugging.
