Getting feed URL to wok

  • Hi,

    Seems like many others have this problem, but I can’t find any clear answers. I am a novice user of wordpress and not experienced with a load of code.

    I can’t locate my feed url. I get a 404 error when trying to reach the assumed feed url of https://www.thespiltbean.com/feed

    I have installed a few plugins, but have deactivated them all and no luck. I have also reverted back to the default theme and still no luck.

    I host my domain on a paid-for web host from justhost.com

    Any help would be great

  • I think your permalinks are messed up

    Go to settings > permalinks

    Set custom with the following

    /%category%/%postname%/

    Thanks. That wasn’t actually the case, but it was my .htaccess file that needed updating. You’re advice pointed me to the problem though, so thanks!
