    Hi,

Can you share why I’m getting “Could not retrieve order” errors for PayPal? Is it my settings? It just started happening lately since the latest update. Should I place a ticket with WooCommerce directly?

    Here’s some of the message:

my website info and then the rest…..

    Hi @cam5atl

Can you please share the steps you are following to replicate the error you report?

Also, please include a screenshot of what you see. `If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, here are a few free options:

I’d also like to better understand your site. Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your response.

Once we have that information, we’ll be in a better place to help.

    Hi Nathan,

Thank you for the response. I disconnected PayPal altogether and reconnected testing in Sandbox. I discovered that I can only use PayPal Standard for it to work. I have Stripe as an option for credit cards, but when I use PayPal and PayPal Card Processing, it doesn’t work even in Sandbox.

Otherwise, for now I can work with PayPal standard as the option for PayPal. Since this email, I sent in the system logs to your Woo Support Team and they didn’t see anything or mentioned anything other than to disconnect and try again.

Is there a particular account one needs for the PayPal Card Processing and PayPal other than PayPal Standard? Perhaps I was missing something there.

    Hi there,

I have Stripe as an option for credit cards, but when I use PayPal and PayPal Card Processing, it doesn’t work even in Sandbox.

Stripe isn’t integrated with the WooCommerce core plugin and if you’re using PayPal gateway with a plugin (other than PayPal Standard), you may need to report what you’re experiencing to the plugin’s support team.

Is there a particular account one needs for the PayPal Card Processing and PayPal other than PayPal Standard?

Do you mean which account requirement is requested by PayPal for card processing? If you’re using PayPal Payments it’s requested a PayPal business or personal account:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/paypal-payments-upgrade-guide/#requirements-and-installation

If you want us to take a closer look at the error you’re reporting on this thread please share a screenshot and your system status report as requested by nathvi.

    Cheers.
