Getting error You must enable a payment gateway

Hi,

I downloaded the easy digital downloads plugin and this extension and went through the process of setting the settings in the misc tab for EDD.

However when a user first tries to login they are greeted with this error message

Error: You must enable a payment gateway to use Easy Digital Downloads

Is there clearer documentation on how to setup this extension so as to avoid this error?
