  • Hello,

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘WPSEO_PREMIUM_PATHclasses/google/Google_Client.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/stirimet/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/admin/api-libs/googleanalytics/class-google-analytics-client.php on line 4

Am a beginner can you explain how to go into my website with FTP ?

I still get a completely white dashboard screen on sign-in after updating. Site seems fine, can see dashboard top bar on main site but if you go to wp-admin there’s nothing.

Add me to the litany. I have removed both Jetpack and GAbY- Jetpack removal only did nothing. GAbY fixed the issue. I will follow posts to this thread for news as to when the plugin is fixed.

am using godaddy hosting service do you know how to resolve it?

GoDaddy has written this article about it: https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/96/uploading-files-to-your-website-ftp?countrysite=uk

    Does that help you?

I don’t know what “FTP” even means. I have no idea what to do to fix this. I can’t get into my WordPress dashboard at all. My hosting service is DreamHost if that’s helpful. Can someone please give more detailed instructions?

Scoobs890, does this article by Dreamhost help you?
    https://wiki.dreamhost.com/FTP

Heloooo i’m still stuck! Any help?

    Thank you

I still don’t know how to remove it. I logged into DreamHost, went to Manage Domains, clicked on “FTP” under the correct domain name, logged in, and I’m looking at the index of plugins. I see google-analytics-for-wordpress, but there is no option for removing or deleting or anything like that. Left clicking just takes me into each component within the plugin file and right clicking just gives me options for Open Link in New Tab, Save Link, Copy Link, etc.

    I erased :content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/ directory.

    Still having error!

Is there any cache or trash files to delete?
    Thank you

@scoobs890, can you send me an email on [email protected] with a screenshot of the screen you see?
I’m not super familiar with the webFTP of Dreamhost, but I think I’ll be able to help you solve this.

@nicorel, if you deleted wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/ completely there isn’t any file left that can cause this error. Your admin shouldn’t be cached beyond browser-cache, so that should be solved by Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac).

I also have problems accessing the Admin login page. I installed 5.2.3, then deleted the entire directory in the plugins folder. I still get the fatal error: Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘WPSEO_PREMIUM_PATHclasses/google/Google_Client.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php5/lib/pear’) in /my_directory/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/admin/api-libs/googleanalytics/class-google-analytics-client.php on line 4.

It appears the login script is now looking for the deleted files!

Should I be deleting something else?

Correction to previous post: I upgraded from 5.2.4 to 5.2.5, then deleted the entire directory in the plugins folder.

The hot fix to Version 5.2.6 fixed mine. Thank you, Team Yoast!
