    Hi,

I’ve recently setup a WordPress site with GoDaddy and in the dashboard, when I go to Appearance > Editor and then click to edit the main page on the right hand side of the editor, I get the following error message: The “wpex-eb-settings-plugin” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.

The URL is my site and /wp-admin/site-editor.php?canvas=edit. I’ve tried multiple themes and disabled all the plug-ins with no change. I’m not sure it’s actually causing any issues, but I’d rather not go live with an error message present.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @jwaldeck1!

I am working on a GoDaddy Managed WordPress site today and this error message started appearing after I deleted the CoBlocks Plugin. Once reinstalled, the error message stopped popping up all over the place.

While the CoBlocks Plugin from GoDaddy is not in the Required Plugins list, it probably should be. I haven’t built anything on GoDaddy in YEARS – so I figured it was something I had messed up with the Plugins.

And I’m glad I figured it out because their status.godaddy.com page returns a 400 error. LOL

Hope that resolves it for you, too.

    Cheers!

    Sarah

Wow, that was the issue, thank you for your help!

Awesome! I went looking for the solution, and found your post. Glad I could help. Happy CoBlocking!

I am still getting this error message after reinstalling and activating the CoBlocks Plugin again after deleting it. The “wpex-eb-settings-plugin” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered. I also have a GoDaddy Managed WordPress site.
