    Hi @nabil,

We were using your plugin which is a great plugin by the way, but started to get some errors on our security plugin and a few customers where blocked from the website!!

So I did my best to find out exactly what is going on, but couldn’t.
Here is a way that you maybe reproduce the error.

We are using WP Cerber Security Tool in combination with W3 Cache. I couldn’t find out which one of these two plugins don’t work with HurryTimer.

Here is the error and when does it appear:

If you add a shortcode of the timer in a any page and navigate to the page directly everything works, but the moment you use the browser BACK – FORWARD buttons or use your mobile BACK button. The WP Cerber creates an error like this:

    POST https://mysite/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 403
FYI: This error can be found in WP Cerber Live Traffic

Chrome browser console error: jquery.js:formatted:xxx (xxx represents a line number)

I wrote this much details, because you may need to install these plugins to be able to test and solve it.

We’re testing it and would like to make a purchase in the near future when these problems are solved.

    Thank you Nabil
    Nicole

    Hi @jasnicole

Thanks for taking time explaining the issue you are encountering.

I tried to replicate the issue with both plugins installed and the timer seem to work properly with no 403 error reported.

Does the error disappear when you deactivate both plugins? And site cache purged?

    Best,
    Nabil

    Hi @nlemsieh ,

Sorry for the very late reply. W3 Cache is working properly and WP cerber too. We disabled the other plugins and tested, but no luck. WP Cerber still blocks the page where we put the shortcode and sees it as a threat. I’ve looked a lot, but couldn’t find the problem.

I think it something to do with WP cerber’s anti-spam and form submission. It sees it as a spam somehow.

    Hi @jasnicole

    Thank you for the update.

Does it work when you remove the shortcode? If yes, is there any setting in WP Cerber to exclude that page from being blocked?

    Best,
    Nabil
