• Hi, so I have been trying to put Custom Facebook Feed onto my homepage since yesterday and it has not worked whatever way I’ve tried. I’m using the Divi theme. I tried adding it through the theme’s code option but that either just keeps loading and doesn’t work or gives me “expected RBRACE”. So I decided to try using a wordpress shortcode widget at the bottom of the page, and that gave me the following error:

    Unable to display Facebook posts.
Error: (#4) Application request limit reached
    Type: OAuthException
    Code: 4
Please refer to our Error Message Reference.

I went to the error message reference and it said to update the plugin to the latest version, but I do have the latest version. I really just want this to work so please help. Also the page that it will take you to is obviously not finished, it’s a new site. Thanks for any help!

At the bottom of the page you can see three different places I tried to put it into. They all give the same error.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey abickford,

There could be a few different things going on that would cause that message and it would be beneficial for us to see what the current plugin settings are so we can assist you further.

However, rather than handle this issue through this forum when sending us your plugin’s System Info which might contain some personal data for privacy reasons can I have you submit this same request through our Support page here and then also include your plugin’s System Info in that request as well.

To get your plugin’s System Info go to:

WordPress DashBoard – Facebook Feed – Settings – Support (tabbed page).
Select all text in the “System Info” by clicking in the box, copy and then paste the ‘System Info’ into your reply.

I will await your response from our Support page. Thank you.
