• Okay. I wanted to create a page called diagnosis, but when I did the slug was diagnosis-2, but I didn’t create the page yet… but I had an image called diagnosis.png that came up with /diagnosis/ in its permalink. This is driving me crazy. How do I create my page without the “-2”? Any suggestions?

Usually when WordPress appends the “-2” to a slug, that means you still have the old content by the same name, probably in the trash, draft, etc. If so, try emptying it.

    Could be cache.

Try Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare.
