    Hi,

Many of the posts on our site have no featured image, so when they are pulled as a related post, the image ends up one of several patterns that I had never seen before. My question is, is there anyway to either have no image show, or possibly a single default image, when there is no featured image for the post?

    Thanks,
    Greg

  • Hey Greg, thanks for reaching out, I’ll gladly help!

Do those posts without featured images have any other images inserted? If so, are they as big as or bigger than 151×151 pixels? Any chance you could send us the link to those problematic blog posts?

But you can set a default image for those posts without images in your plugin settings, which should remove those generic, default thumbnails disappear. Or are there any problems with it?

Let me know, I’m more than eager to help you out! Take care & I’m looking forward to your reply!

    Best,

I feel like an idiot. I didn’t see the gray “down-arrow” chevron next to “Advanced Settings” when I firsts looked at the plugin settings page. I see now where I can set a default picture.

    Thanks for your quick response!

Hey Greg, I’m glad you find your way around the problem, really!

And no need to be so harsh on yourself — if there’s someones fault, it’s ours! That small grey-on-grey arrow does seem a bit off and hard to notice, to be honest. We’ll try to change it into something more convenient (and more noticeable).

Either way — thanks for contacting us with this & please do let us know if you have any more questions in the future, since we’re always ready to help you out!

Take care & have a nice rest of the day!

    Best,
    Silvo
