Getting comment counts to show without clicking on post title

I’ve seen other posts about this, but the ones I’ve read do not list the file and the exact code I’d need to delete/add/replace. Could someone here direct me, please?

I’d like my comment counts to show (www.finkweb.org) without readers having to click on the post title in order to see if any have been posted, or if they want to post a comment themselves.

I’m using the Farad theme with WordPress 3.8.
